THE BEGINNING
ENEMY-9 is a Swiss Hard Trance DJ and producer whose passion for electronic music began in 1994. Everything started when he first saw a DJ setup in a local youth club. Fascinated by the equipment, the countless buttons, the technical possibilities and the art of mixing music, he instantly knew that he wanted to become a DJ. Inspired by Swiss Trance legends DJ Mind-X and Snowman, he quickly fell in love with Trance music, a passion that has never faded and still drives him to this day. Another artist who had a significant influence on ENEMY-9 was the Swiss Hard Trance  Legend Dave Joy. His music had a profound impact on his musical identity. His energetic melodies, emotional arrangements and unmistakable sound became a major source of inspiration and helped shape ENEMY-9’s own approach to Trance andHaed Trance production.

THE JOURNEY
Throghout his career, ENEMY-9 has performed at numerous clubs, festivals and rave events across Switzerland, including appearances at the legendary OXA in Zurich and at the iconic Energy event at Hallenstadion Zurich. These experiences helped shape his energetic and uncompromising style behind the decks and laid the foundations for a lifelong journey in electronic music.

In 2010, ENEMY-9 released his first single, “Heart & Soul”, together with HiBeatz on Toxic Records Germany, marking his first steps into music production. After several early attempts and years of developing his musical vision, ENEMY-9 fully dedicated himself to music production in 2020, absorbing everything he could learn and refining his sound step by step.

Today, ENEMY-9 produces his music entirely by himself, combining uplifting melodies, driving basslines and powerful acid elements into a sound built for energy, emotion and impact. His productions have been released on respected labels including Hard Trance Europe, Hyper Reality Records,HQ Recordings and Atomika Records, gaining support from DJs and fans across the international Hard Trance community.

THE ARTIST
In recent years, ENEMY-9 has shared line-ups with some of the biggest names in the scene and performed at renowned events such as the Hard Trance Europe Weekender in the United Kingdom, further establishing his reputation beyond Switzerland.

Beyond the music itself, ENEMY-9 has built a distinctive visual identity around the colours black and yellow. Inspired by the iconic Acid Smiley, the energy of the early rave movement and his own Bad Smiley emblem, these elements have become a recognisable part of the ENEMY-9 brand and symbolise the darker, harder and more energetic side of trance that defines his sound.£

THE UK INFLUENECE
Since 2008, he has been deeply influenced by the UK Hard Trance scene and its unique energy and community spirit. Artists such as Nomad, Wragg & Log:One, Iain Cross, Louk, Tricky DJ, SHOCK:FORCE, Lab4 and Nick The Kid have all played an important role in shapinghis musical direction and passion for the genre and continue to inspire his love for the harder side of trance.

More than thirty years after discovering electronic music, the passion burns brighter than ever. With new releases, collaborations and live performances on the horizon, ENEMY-9 continues to push forward with one simple philosophy:
